Challenge
After more than 100 years, FDMHA felt a brand refresh was critical to recruiting new members and engaging the next generation.
Solution
We provided new marketing materials, including a logo, to enhance the brand and keep design collateral consistent.
Elevating the present while paying homage to the past.
Located in Southeast Washington, DC, FDMHA is one of the most active community organizations helping children reach their full potential while educating them on African American history. FDMHA’s brand identity had to resonate with audiences spanning from middle school students to sponsors of their scholarship events.
Clay and Group incorporated an Earth-tone palette with visuals of the famous abolitionist featured prominently in each design. In addition to it logo, we provided graphic support for program booklets, event flyers, a scholarship application, and photography.
